In Development Now...
The S-1E

Ever since the first day that we released the S-1, we have heard on question more than any other: where is the motor? Well, ask
and you shall receive!
The S-1E is an electric powered derivative of our S-1 canard slope soaring sailplane. We initially
set out to develop a conversion kit for the S-1, but during the development we decided that a conversion kit was not the
best way to achieve the ends of an electric powered pusher canard. So, we selected an airfoil that is better suited for powered
aerobatics, redesigned the wing structure for the increased flight loads of powered flight, and engineered a better solution for
landing gear.
Although we have made great progress on the S-1E, we feel as though we have not reflected sufficiently on the desires of you,
our customers. With that in mind we have designed a survey aimed at compiling your input into what you would like to see in the
final design. The topics include choice of materials on the fuselage and wing (foam, wood, fiberglass), ARF or kit, and several others.
Please take a moment to have your voice heard, and to help us settle on a design for the S-1E by taking the survey linked below.
